I share a general attitude of distrust towards psychology - both theoretical and experimental. But discounting that every now and then they produce some good result is a problem: it's like claiming that since we don't have a "complete" understanding of how the whole body works - and therefore medicine relies on false assumption - then medicine should be ignored.
Academia is completely lost: healthcare, social, journalism, climate science. All completely unhinged post say 2010. Sure it was bad before that but then broke from any vague rational grounding.
